This book series is about a boy who finds out to be a demigod. If you want to know a little bit of greek mythology in a fun easy way?
Even if it's for children/young-adults I think this book is even great for teenagers who love fantasy.
If you want to read about adventure and getting over many every day problems, this is a book I recommend.
I really like this series, because I really like greek mythology and the adventures are fun, the friends even. Everybody is describe wonderfully and you understand many of the characters in the book, not only their personality, but even their reasons for there action. You read about the growth of a boy who felt out of place and a girl who felt unloved by her parents. You read about their changes and the thoughts of Percy. The friendships, broken families, new families made with people who aren't related and the loss of friends.
It's written by Rick Riodan, there is a second serie called Heroes of Olympus
